The summer golf season at Reay is up and running following the traditional Captain versus Vice-Captain fixture held on Saturday.

In breezy and chilly conditions, a total of 11 matches were played between teams representing club captain Andy Bain and his vice-captain Colin Paterson. In a very closely fought affair, it was Bain’s team who emerged victorious by six matches to five.

The RJ McLeod Open scramble, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 10, has been postponed for a week and will now be played on April 17.
