Guest speaker in the Northern Sands Hotel in Dunnet was Charles Copeland from Orkney.

On Monday evening, an open meeting is being held in the Pentland Hotel in Thurso to discuss how past and present members of the Caithness district of the Scottish Assocaition of Young Farmers want to mark the 90th anniversary of the movement in the county.

The country’s first YF club was formed in Lanergill, near Watten.
