A young Wick woman has denied causing another woman fear and alarm through her unwanted online contact.
Aimee MacLeod pleaded not guilty at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday to engaging in a course of conduct which caused the woman fear or alarm.
The 21-year-old is alleged to have sent threatening social media messages which were derogatory and repeatedly attempted to make contact in person, via social media and through her friends, knowing that the contact was unwanted.
MacLeod, of West Banks Terrace, had her trial fixed for November 26.
A special condition of her bail prevents her from contacting or approaching the other woman in the meantime.
