Wick woman denies assault and damage charges

A Wick woman is to fight charges of assault and causing damage at a house near Halkirk.
Teri Mackay is alleged to have bitten a man and thrown a pan at him at the house on October 26, last year.
Mackay (30) is also accused of smashing the front passenger window of a car, Wick Sheriff Court was told this week. She has pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
The accused, of Murchison Street, Wick, was granted conditional bail by Sheriff Neil Wilson, and will return to court for her trial on March 4.
