A special calendar of images produced by Wick High School (WHS) pupils during lockdown is now on sale.

A youth worker at WHS ran a competition for the best images taken during lockdown and professional photographer John Baikie judged the entries.

First place went to Kirsty McClymont; second was Naomi Gow; and third went to Joanna Gunn. Tesco Wick donated vouchers to the three talented winners.

With all the images to hand the school came up with the idea of publishing some in a special 2021 calendar.

A WHS spokesperson said: "The pupils have done a fantastic job and their photos are amazing.

"If you would like a copy, they can be purchased within the Youth Hub in WHS or you can also email heather.manson@highlifehighland.com to arrange pick up from the high school at a suitable time. We would really appreciate if you could have the correct amount for purchasing any copies so that we can limit contact with money."

All money raised will be donated to the Wick Food Bank.
