Wick High School has issued a bulletin this morning stating that it will remain closed today and tomorrow after a building sustained damage during Storm Arwen on Friday.
The school had said it would provide an update today after a panel from its gym was ripped away during the storm.
The latest bulletin states: "Please be advised that the school will remain closed to staff and pupils tomorrow, Tuesday 30th November. This is to allow an independent engineer's inspection and report to be carried out on the building following damage caused in Friday's storm. Pupils will be able to access work for their timetabled classes via Google Classroom."
The school said it apologised "for the inconvenience caused" and will provide further updates via the school website and our social media channels.
