Wick High School's annual sports day was held last week with pupils being awarded sports medals for their efforts on the day and throughout the year.

The sports day saw S1, S2, S3 and senior pupils take part in competitions in netball, football and boys/girls basketball. The winners were presented their medals by Wick Academy FC player Richard Macadie.

An overall best pupil award was also handed out for each year group by Richard.

Alan Davis, acting faculty head of home economics, music and PE at Wick High, said that this was "awarded for outstanding performance on sports day as well as excellent attitude and effort in PE throughout the year".
