THURSO Players are all set to stage their first production of 2013 at the Mill for a three-night run, starting tomorrow (Thursday, March 21).

Out of Sight… Out of Murder, billed as a comedy/mystery/thriller, by Fred Carmichael, is directed by Eric Maughan. The cast of nine vie to find out "who done it" in a twist on the classic murder mystery.

Peter Knight, an author desperate to finish his latest novel, has been sent by his publisher to a secluded old mansion where another author had died in mysterious circumstances.

His novel has all the stock characters, a butler, a maid and an ingénue, but as lightning whips around the property, creating a weird electrical storm, his characters are brought to life and start to take over the situation.

Will he finish his novel or will he succumb to the unknown killer?

And what twists are in store for the characters over which he now has no control? Tickets for the performances tomorrow, Friday and Saturday are available from the Caithness Horizons centre.
