Watten man sentenced over indecent images sent on WhatsApp

A Watten man will carry out 120 hours of unpaid community work as a punishment for sending a woman indecent images on WhatsApp.
Donald Swanson (42) also included sexual comments in the messages, Wick Sheriff Court heard previously, when he pleaded guilty and a background report was requested.
The offence took place between December 22 and 23, 2022.
Swanson, of Lannergill Road, Watten, is also required to place himself on the sex offenders register for five years.
