WATCH: Wick author's pop-up book launch tonight

Multi-award-winning author Ewan Morrison will appear for an online pop-up book launch tonight (Monday, March 1) at 6.30pm.

The event marks the official release of the Wick man's latest novel How To Survive Everything which is already garnering rave reviews from literary critics.

The all-too-familiar back story for this futuristic tale features a terrifying pandemic and the travails of 15-year-old Haley and her eight-year-old brother Ben who have been kidnapped by their father to his secret lockdown hideaway.

Acclaimed author Ian Rankin said: "I wasn’t sure there could be a great pandemic novel. Here it is." While the Scotsman's critic called it "a masterclass in storytelling".

The YouTube link below will be live at 6.30pm today (Monday) and Ewan will explain the background to the novel and what inspired it. You can ask him questions when he returns for a live Q&A on Friday, March 5.
