Lyth Arts Centre (LAC) talks to actor Remi Rachuba in an exclusive interview about his upcoming show ‘Intruder’ this Saturday.

Polish-born actor Remi is taking his one-man play to LAC – Intruder/Intruz follows Remi’s story of moving to Scotland to pursue his acting career, but all does not go to plan and an ugly and vicious attack almost ruins his life.

Remi was the recipient of the 2023 VAULT Festival Pick of Summerhall Award, shortlisted for Adrian Pagan Playwriting Award at the King’s Head Theatre, and in the final shortlist in the BBC Writersroom Drama.

His writing is described as “heart-wrenching, unique and brutal”. With elements of black humour and clever twists, the play keeps the audience transfixed, to witness a moving portrayal of acceptance and the ultimate forgiveness.

Remi talks to LAC in an exclusive interview about the show which he says is about “mental health, forgiveness, anxiety and dreams with a little comedy thrown in”.

Intruder/Intruz takes place on Saturday, March 15 at 8pm at Lyth Arts Centre - tickets can be bought online via the LAC website.
