Children at Halkirk Primary School enjoyed a sunny outdoor day of fun as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

A school spokesperson said: "For the celebrations we dressed up in party clothes, had a platinum parade around the school waving our Union Jacks, followed by a picnic lunch outside.

"There were also lots of Jubilee-themed activities going on in the classrooms. Everyone had a fantastic, fun-filled day to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee."
