CAITHNESS band Maydays are about to embark on a mini-UK tour next week.

The six-piece are to play dates in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Thurso.

Maydays, whose line-up comprises singer Jordan Shearer, bass player Calvin Wilson, Liam Whittles on the organ, brothers Jamie and Kevin Swanson on guitars and Darren Coghill on the drums, start the tour with two gigs in London on Monday and Tuesday before heading to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The band will also play in Stirling before appearing at the Newmarket bar in Thurso on September 10.
