Two people hurt in motorcycle crash

A driver and passenger are believed to be seriously hurt after a motorcycle crashed on the A9 Scrabster to Inverness road early this afternoon.

The incident took place at The Mound near Dornoch at 12.30pm.

Police officers, including from Wick, are in attendance.

The road is currently closed and diversions have been put in place while investigations are being carried out.
