A Wick man is alleged to have caused a disturbance at the town’s police station after being arrested.
Darrell Hall (32) is accused of threatening or abusive behaviour and striking his head against a cell door and uttering threats of violence.
The incident is said to have occurred after Hall, of Glamis Road, Wick, was arrested in the town’s Bank Row and charged with possession of cannabis and failing to provide police officers with his name and address.
He pleaded not guilty to the offences, which were said to have occurred on September 28.
Hall was allowed bail and will return to the court for his trial on February 18.
