A Thurso man has admitted being in possession of cannabis with a street value of between £250 and £300.
John Litchfield (42) will be sentenced on October 16, after Sheriff Neil Wilson considers a background report.
The offence involving 27.7 gm of the Class B drug, occurred at his home in St Peter’s Road, Pennyland, Thurso, on April 24, Wick Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday.
The background report was requested by the accused’s solicitor and Litchfield was instructed to co-operate fully in its preparation by social workers.
Sheriff Wilson, who observed that the accused was currently out of prison on licence, commented: “Given your record of offending, I suspect you know your way around the system.”
