Thurso charity shop urges you to pop in this weekend for ‘Secondhand September’ event
Highland Hospice charity shop in Thurso hosts a special ‘Secondhand September’ event tomorrow (Saturday, September 21) at its High Street premises.
The popular store asks the public to come inside and buy secondhand clothing in a bid to get people to “recycle, reuse, and shop local”.
Staff will be dressing up in garments sourced from the store and there will be stalls outside to tempt those passing by.
Susan Imlach, the store manager, and her team are also nominated in the Charity Retail Association UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Awards.
You have still time to get your nomination in by the closing date of Monday (September 23) and you can vote at: survey.alchemer.com/s3/7977798/The-UK-s-Favourite-Charity-Shop-Award-2024-voting
