SIX towheads for the Equinor Snorre project off Norway have been delivered to Subsea 7's site at Wester. Site manager Willie Watt said a further three towheads are due to arrive at Wick harbour next week.

The six towheads were delivered by two ships in an operation that began on Tuesday, November 19.

"Everything went really well. The modifications made to the road have been really helpful, cutting down the time it takes to get through the town and helping minimise the disruption," Mr Watt said. "We would like to thank the people of Wick for their continued support, cooperation and patience."

Delivery of the final three towheads will be weather dependent.
