MUSIC fans from the Far North are among those who have made their way to the shores of Loch Ness to enjoy three days of the biggest music festival in the Highlands.

Thousands of people are descending on the village of Dores to see some of the biggest names in music at this year’s RockNess.

Mumford & Sons will be headlining the main stage tonight while Ed Sheeran tops the bill in the Golden Voice Arena.

Other big names appearing this weekend include Deadmau5, Metronomy, Friendly Fires, Ash and Mylo.

Scots rockers Biffy Clyro will close the festival on Sunday night.
