THURSO will be the venue for a night of rock music next weekend.
The Oxides, City in Surveillance and Jemma Tweedie will be playing at the Y Not Bar and Grill in the town on Saturday, March 9.
The Oxides are an Inverness-based band who emerged on the scene in
July 2012.
Two of the band’s members were previously in a group called The Boosts who played regularly in Thurso.
Special guests for the night will be young Indie rock n’ rollers City In Surveillance, who last year supported The Complete Stone Roses at their Thurso date. Also on the bill will be Jemma Tweedie who has recently featured on Dermot O’Learys BBC Radio show. She has recently been nominated for Best Acoustic Act for the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.
