Scottish death toll from Covid-19 rises 74 to 296

Ten further coronavirus cases have been confirmed across the Highlands as the number of new diagnoses in Scotland rose by 268.
The national death toll jumped by 74 to 296 after delayed figures from the weekend were added to the daily total.
Across Scotland 4229 people are confirmed as having caught Covid-19, although experts believe the true figure is much higher.
The number of confirmed cases in the NHS Highland area is now 112.
Elsewhere in the north of Scotland, the NHS Grampian area recorded one additional case to take its total to 210, Shetland also returned one further positive to take its tally to 42, while the figures remained flat in Orkney (4) and the Western Isles (4).
NHS Tayside saw its case load rise 17 to 516, and the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area became the first Scottish area to pass the 1000 mark after recording another 110 cases in 24 hours. Its total now stands at 1094.
