Teen charged after Thurso tool theft

Police in Thurso would like to inform the public that a 16-year-old male has been charged and reported for a theft of tools from the Premier Inn building site at Ormlie Road in the town.

The theft is believed to have occurred on the night of September 3, 2020, with tools and copper having been reported stolen.

Police also confirmed that "some of the tools have now been recovered".

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this enquiry. If anyone has any further information on the current whereabouts of the outstanding tools which includes a petrol disc cutter then please contact 101 quoting incident NJ/1536/20."
