Ghouls and ghosts have taken up residence in the woods at Forse of Nature with this year's Halloween trail promising to be spooktacular.

The local café, which reopened to the public on Saturday after a two-week break, is pulling out all the stops this year with more spooks on offer.

Open daily from 11am-4pm, the Halloween feature is free to explore but visitors are urged to wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear, while remembering to observe social distancing.

Children dressing up in their own spooky costumes will receive a wee treat.

Lynn Watts, one of the owners of Forse of Nature, said: "Its really good news to be back open. We have done the spooky trail each year – this one is going to be bigger and better than before."

The café, which includes a craft shop, underwent a deep clean recently as a precautionary measure after a notification from Test and Protect.
