A tireless group of volunteers who help keep Wick's riverside looking attractive have put out a call for locals to come along and give them a hand in tidying up the area.

Wick Riverside Volunteers (WRV) will be doing a litter pick and tidy of the flower beds on Sunday, August 15 at 10.30am if anyone would like to join them. The WRV has equipment that can be borrowed if you don't have your own.

They have also invited members of the Wick Paths Group to join them on the day. The work will take place at the rose garden near the boating shed by Wick river.
