RAIL passengers are being warned of engineering disruption on the Far North Line this weekend.

Buses will replace trains between Inverness and Caithness on Saturday to allow bridge and tunnel maintenance on a section of the line between Invergordon and Ardgay.

ScotRail has advised that "a small number of trains" will run between Inverness and Dingwall, but that longer journeys will be via bus replacements.
