Pupil council's Red Nose Day fundraising at Farr primary





Farr Primary School Pupil Council organised a bake sale to raise money for Red Nose Day, which this year fell on March 17.

The pupil council is made up of Harry Maclean, Emily Mackay, Michael Magee, Megan Maclean, Ben Mackay, Alexander Rigby, Lilly Mackay and Murron Cook.

They all worked hard to advertise, encourage donations and to man the stall.

The pupils also arranged an artwork sale, turning the school into a gallery.

Parents were able to purchase beautiful works of art include paintings and clay sculptures.

Just over £149 was raised in total.

Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising campaign run by the non-profit organisation Comic Relief.

Funding raised through the campaign supports programmes that address the needs of children in poverty.
