Pre-championship Highland dance title for Saphie

Fourteen-year-old Saphie Mackay has become the 80th member of the Elise Lyall School of Dance to win a pre-championship title for Highland dancing.

Saphie, from Lower Larel, Halkirk, won her section when she competed at the Central Scotland open championships held in Paisley. She will now continue to compete at championship level.
