Police investigate 'unexplained' death of young Thurso woman

DETAILS have just been released by local police with regard to the death of a young woman in Thurso on Saturday night.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Thurso were called a property in the Ormlie area around 8.45pm on Saturday, 22 August, following a report that a 21-year-old woman had taken unwell.
"She was pronounced dead at the scene and the death is currently being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, pending further enquiries."
The bulletin ended by saying a report will now be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
