POLICE in Caithness are asking for help after a break in at a popular Wick takeaway.

While the officers did not reveal the date and time of the theft, or indeed what was stolen - they are asking members of the public to come forward if they know anything about the incident.

On social media, a police spokesman said: "Police in Caithness are seeking any information in relation to a theft by housebreaking at Bombay Spice takeaway, Bridge Street, Wick.

"Any information can be passed to DC N0703 Brooks at Caithness CID quoting NJ1856/21."
