Police Scotland officers in Caithness appeal for information over hit-and-run involving parked van

POLICE have appealed for information after a hit and run involving a parked van.

The incident occurred on the B874 at Winless Woods around 8.30am on Sunday, October 11.

"The vehicle involved is believed to be a white Toyota Hilux or similar vehicle towing a small livestock trailer, which reversed into a parked white van and proceeded to drive away," said a police spokesman.

Anyone with information can contact Wick police office on 101 quoting crime reference NJ/1738/20.
