Pupils from across Keiss Primary School and Nursery joined together in a day of sports on Friday.
Children took part in penalty shoot-out, netball throw, hockey dribble, relay, welly-throwing and tug of war contests as well as traditional races in the afternoon. Nursery pupils also threw the welly and ran races with their school mates.
Family members supported their children and members of the parent council officiated. While the pupils stole the show, parents took part in a running race with Ben and Carla Taylor claiming the honours in their respective categories.
Keiss FC official Tristan Lowe lined the track for the day and Evan Sinclair and his team cut the playing field prior to the event.
Junior girls' sports champion was Leah Mackay (P2), while the junior boys' sports champion title was shared between Zac Taylor (P3) and Rory Green (P4).
Aurora Bain (P6) was the senior girls' sports champion, and senior boys' champion was Charlie Breeze (P5).
Fulliegeos were crowned overall house winners and captain Callum Booth and vice-captain Jack Richard received the Rhona MacPherson Shield.
Pupils enjoyed a barbecue lunch prepared and served by Pamela Jack and Andrea Young.
Class teacher Kate Sutherland had a leading role in organising the event.
She said: “The pupils have had a brilliant day. A lot of work went into the number of events that the pupils took part in and it was great to see our families supporting our school and nursery community once more.”
