The outdoor Olympic-themed playground picnic party was full of “busyness and happiness” as families came together to enjoy the day.

Headteacher, Jacqueline Budge said: “Each child from our ELC-P7 invited one person to attend our event and our Parent Council very kindly paid for each of our P6s and P7s lunch too, so that all of our children enjoyed it for free.

“Our talented dinner ladies created the most delicious variety of picnic foods with soup and over 600 of us enjoyed it!

“We encouraged everyone to dress up with an Olympic theme and our playground was so bright and colourful due to all of the Olympic art that our clever children created. As always, I was so grateful to our wonderful families who supported us superbly.”
