Housing associations keen to house refugees





HOUSING associations in Caithness are working with Highland Council to find out if it can help find homes for refugees from Syria and other war-torn countries.

Pentland Housing Association and Cairn Housing Association have both confirmed it is working with council officials on how it can help with the current crisis.

Highland Council has already pledged to provide housing to migrants where available.

PHA and CHA are working along with the local authority to find out if it can earmark any of its properties for the purpose.
