Overnight break-in at Thurso council premises





Police are investigating a break-in at a council depot in Thurso.

Officers were called to the scene on Tuesday morning after the Highland Council premises were broken into overnight in the early hours of Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Tuesday, September 30, we received a report of a break-in to a premises on Sir Archibald Road, Thurso, which happened overnight.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

Highland Council has a Housing and Property Services yard located on the road, which provides building services.
