Highland motorist taken to hospital ‘as a precaution’ following earlier A9 crash near Dornoch Bridge involving three vehicles, confirms Police Scotland
One person was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the A9 near the Dornoch Bridge.
Police confirmed that the person was taken to hospital “as a precaution” after the collision at around 3.15pm on Friday.
Emergency services attended the scene and the road was partially closed for a time, as the northbound carriageway was blocked by the collision.
It later fully reopened to traffic.
In an update on Saturday morning, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A9 near the Dornoch Firth Bridge is open following a three-vehicle crash which was reported around 3.15pm on Friday, February 7.
“One person was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
