‘Not the usual Johnston Collection’ – Wick photographic studio’s work discussed at free talk by Caithness family history group





At its November meeting, the Caithness Family History Society (CFHS) will feature Donald Henderson of the Wick Society as its speaker.

Donald will give a presentation entitled ‘Not the Usual Johnston Collection’.

Anna Rogalski from CFHS states: “The usual Johnston Collection is an amazing collection of photographs taken by three generations of the Johnston family over a period of 112 years.

“This is very useful for those interested in local and family history, as well as those who are keen on photography. Donald’s presentation will have examples of the Johnstons’ work and an explanation of the talk’s intriguing title.”

The free-to-attend event is on Tuesday, November 11, at 7pm, and all are welcome. After the talk, there will be an opportunity for a cuppa and a chat with others.
