NorthLink ferry bookings being taken for 2026 season





Ferry passengers are being encouraged to book in plenty of time after tickets for sailings between Caithness and Orkney in 2026 were released.

Serco NorthLink Ferries confirmed this week that its 2026 schedules are now open for bookings at www.northlinkferries.co.uk

The routes include the company’s Scrabster to Stromness service, as well as its Aberdeen to Kirkwall and Lerwick sailings.

Magnus Dixon, marketing manager for NorthLink Ferries, said: “The Northern Isles are popular tourist destinations with beautiful nature and sights to see and vibrant cultural events to experience.

“This means early planning is essential when organising a holiday to and from Orkney and Shetland.”

Serco has provided the Northern Isles service since July 2012 and its MV Hamnavoe operates on the Caithness to Orkney route on the Pentland Firth.
