A one-stop online facility has been set up for Caithness residents to share the latest news, training opportunities, job vacancies and articles that are pertinent to mental health and well-being.
The Friday Bulletin started of as a way of circulating information between partners in the Action Group for Mental Health, since then it has grown with agencies all over and through the Caithness Cares partners, asking for their information to be shared.
Julie Marker who is behind the venture said: "Through the bulletin we can share latest news, training opportunities, job vacancies and articles that are pertinent to mental health and well-being.
"Those in the health profession, housing and community groups, councillors and members of the public find it helpful to know how they can support clients, friends and neighbours – it has reached thousands in the county and beyond over the past few months."
The bulletin can be found at: sway.office.com/qeYCJVcCNAcH4YKS and Julie says that anyone with relevant info online can hashtag it #Caithnesscares
She adds that there are also "big plans to transform current mental health provision" with an extension to drop in services, outreach sessions and out of hours crisis support.
There is also a new employability sub group of Caithness Cares to help young people prepare for work.
Julie has also posted a new short introduction to bereavement support video on HERE for Caithness, new videos from Home-Start Caithness and Listening Ear men's group.
