Fortrose orienteers are Scottish champs

Fortrose Academy pupils celebrate winning the best secondary school award at the Scottish Schools Orienteering Championships.

Fortrose Academy managed to find their way to become national champions when they navigated their way to major success.

The Black Isle school won the title of best overall secondary school at the Scottish Schools Orienteering Championship which was held at Pollok last weekend.

There was also success for Avoch Primary School who finished second in the primary school section behind overall winners Inverness Gaelic School.
