Police investigate medication theft in Inverness

SEVERAL types of medication have allegedly been stolen from a house in the Kinmylies area of Inverness.

Tramedol, Pregabalin, Amytripthalene, Baclophen, Roprinole, Tolterodine, Diazepam and Temazepam have been reportedly taken during a break in at some point between 23rd December and 4th January.

Electrical items were also reported missing from the property in Old Steading Road.

Northern Constabulary is investigating the incident.

"The medication is prescribed drugs in tablet form and may be harmful for any person to consume if not prescribed to them by their doctor," said a police spokeswoman.

She added if anyone finds the medication to notify police and hand it in at a police station, hospital or doctors.
