Man kicks dog on Wick streets

Several people in Wick claim to have witnessed a man being abusive towards a dog and reported the matter to the police yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a dog being kicked at Harbour Quay in Wick around 11.30am on Friday, 12 November.

“The animal was examined and found to be uninjured.

“A 60-year-old will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the incident.”
