Man denies ecstasy charge at his Thurso home

A Thurso man is alleged to have had ecstasy in his possession with intent to supply it to another or others.
Mark Urquhart (50) tendered his not guilty plea by letter at Wick Sheriff Court on Thursday. He is due to stand trial on December 7.
Urquhart is accused of having committed the offence involving the Class A drug at his home in Provost Cormack Drive, Thurso, on August 10, last year.
The charge has been brought under the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1971.
