Man (42) to appear at Wick Sheriff Court today after weekend incidents





A man is due to appear in court today (Tuesday, May 21) after a multiple assault in Wick at the weekend.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident which took place in Wick on Sunday.

Police Scotland announced that he is due to appear at Wick Sheriff Court today(Tuesday, May 21).

At around 10am on Sunday May 19, police received a report of a man having been assaulted and robbed on Leishman Avenue.

Emergency services attended and a 31-year-old man was taken to Caithness General Hospital.

A short time later officers received a report of a further two people injured within a property on Glamis Road.

The 32-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were also taken to hospital.

Police confirmed that the 42-year-old man was also taken to hospital, however all people have since been discharged.
