THURSO Lifeboat’s fundraising season continues with their popular car wash tomorrow (Saturday).

The car washers will once again be George Durrand and Friends of CD who will wash any vehicle from a Rolls Royce to a Robin Reliant, from 10am until 4.30pm at the Lifeboat station quay in Scrabster.

A fee is not set for the wash so it is left to the owner to decide on a donation. Refreshments will be available and the shop will be open with this year’s Christmas cards on sale.

Thurso Lifeboat Day, held earlier this month, proved extremely busy and took in £757.55.

Their last two fundraising events will be a coffee morning in October and Christmas Fayre in December.
