Ormlie Community Association is planning a tea party as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

It is taking place in the Ormlie Centre in Henderson Street, Thurso, on Friday, June 3, between 11am and 2pm, and will be open to everyone.

Tea, sandwiches and cake will be served and there will be royal-themed activities such as making crowns and "pin the crown on the Queen".

Project development manager Julie Calder said: "We're all looking forward to it and would encourage as many members of the public as possible to come along and join in the celebrations. This is a great opportunity to celebrate a very special event."
