A special group for men is hosted by Lyth Arts Centre (LAC) on Sunday at 3pm with free entry and no need to book.

Through a collection of photography, poetry, and artwork by the Join in More (JiM) group for men, the LAC 'Kirk, or no Kirk?' exhibition celebrates a journey towards the legend of St Coomb's Kirk at Dunnet beach and the ways in which deeper connections with place can support mental wellbeing.

JiM is a weekly group for men of all ages and backgrounds in Wick and Thurso, facilitated by Listening Ear Caithness who offer emotional support to people in the county. The event is hosted in partnership with digital artist, Lisa Poulsen, and Lyth Arts Centre’s CAIR project

Lisa says: "We’d love for you to join us to celebrate the opening of our exhibition from 3-5pm this Sunday, May 22 at Lyth Arts Centre with live music by Keisha Sutherland and a complementary drink from LAC."
