The League of Friends of Caithness General Hospital has handed over its annual Christmas gifts to the hospital's various departments.

The Rosebank and Bignold wings, along with the radiography department, each received a television. The dementia ward received a CD player along with CDs and games, while scales, footwear and pelvic stimulators went to the physiotherapy department.

The ambulatory department received heat packs, hand cream and mugs, with baby blankets going to the Henderson wing and emergency packs along with selection boxes to A&E.

The handover took place on Saturday afternoon.
