HERE for Caithness – the one-stop-shop for everything concerning mental health and wellbeing – is unlocking a new feature in 2022.

The website will open its resource library for information about a wide range of topics such as dementia, coping with chronic pain, menopause and bipolar disorder.

Julie Marker, project coordinator said: "We want to provide information that helps people in Caithness to recognise early symptoms and helps them to speak with their GP about concerns.

"Sometimes people find it hard to explain when they are in front of their GP, especially if they are stressed or worried. The factsheets present NHS information and may boost patient’s confidence so when they approach their doctor, they know how to discuss their symptoms.

"Healthcare professionals will have their own tools and tests to determine outcomes but this is about helping patients to manage anxiety and stress related to the consultation process."

To access the resource library visit the HERE for Caithness website and enter the cottage through the white button on the door – everything can be found inside.
