Glasgow pair deny chasing teenager with knife and crowbar in Thurso





Two Glasgow men intend to fight allegations that they chased a teenager along Thurso Esplanade and beach while armed with a crowbar and a knife, and threatened him with violence.

Warren Wallis (34), of Westerburn Street, and Kyle Miller (26), of Manscroft Place, pleaded not guilty at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

Miller also denies assaulting the 17-year-old by seizing hold of him, holding a knife against his neck and punching him.

Miller further pleaded not guilty to possessing a knife and Wallis denied possession of a crowbar.

The incidents are said to have occurred on July 14. The accused will stand trial on February 4, next year.
