A Glasgow man is to fight an allegation that he threatened to set fire to a Wick restaurant and takeaway.
Arkam Hilaj (31) entered a plea of not guilty to a single charge of having behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm, and fire-raising.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at the Spice Tandoori, at The Shore, Wick, on January 24, Wick Sheriff Court heard on Tuesday.
Hilaj, of Maxwell Grove, Glasgow, was granted bail by Sheriff Ian Anderson, who banned him from Wick and contacting restaurant staff, pending his trial on May 2.
